Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

Not really. I just took the last F2004 and will prepare soon a comparison video with my ordinary build of the Revell F2003ga. On the Hachette models there are some dramatic build mistakes, and not cause packaging.
The Ferrari of this series are a must of course and on 1:24 scale. wonderful to see them together with other types of cars.

I well know also the rally series, taking several of them (too many honestly..). Also, Burago is indeed a dilemma. some models are stunning (shapes mostly, clearly done after company 3d files), very well taken, and sometimes also very well assembled. Just took here a stunning sp1 Monza, simply fantastic, as well as their Roma. Impossible miss theme, especially at 20 euros.

I don't think I under estimate theme, never. The proof is I'm buying a lot of theme. The value for money is simply amazing. In ordinary kit modeling for 20 euros you cant get a set of resin wheels.

Note there has been also a test series (I read was made for Spanish market only) where they tried with 60s sports car and prototypes. They made a stunning model of the ford gt40 mk.1 1075 that IMO is simply the best ever around in 24th. Just the wheels are as usual little bit toyish, but the overall look is seriously the nicest. Miles away from any fujimi or meng models, talking of shapes.
