Welcome to the forum! Since presumably your misfire is not giving you a P017x code I moved your post to a new thread. I'm also presuming you were, and still are, getting a P0305 misfire code. Please confirm. Are you getting any other diagnostic codes?

Have you performed a compression check on cylinder #5? Or better yet, a cylinder leakdown test?
