Wow, talk about a necropost.

Sets of 5 beeps usually indicates a fault with the airbag system. The light on the dash will flash a sequence of times, i.e. one flash pause 8 flashes pause indicates a code 18. You can then look up that number on line to see what the issue is. It might be something as simple as the pass indicator light being burned out.
