you didn't say a price range.. but up in your area, most states use salt on the road in winter, so a 60yr old is either going to be a 'rust bucket', or a very well taken care of classic; it would be hard to find a middle ground..
plus, a they get more rare, price will go up; but with a new car off the lot running 30-50k, a 66 2dr chevelle with 30thousand miles on it, at $48k is nothing..
it's not a 3 on the tree, but a 4 on the floor; strapped to a big block..
and it is just south of you; Cruisin' Classics, outside of Columbus, OH..
and they finance!
OR-
a real clean 66 chevelle V8auto outside of pittsburgh on craigslist for 27k..
