Sounds like maybe a bad ground somewhere. Don't know. Repeated battery failures usually, BUT not always, involve some sort of parasitic draw. They must have checked for that though.We had a really weird issue with our 99 Taurus Wagon where the battery would go dead in a couple of weeks, it was replaced twice. Turns out the alternator was futzing up where sometimes it would only generate like maybe 12 volts which is not enough to keep the battery charged, other times it would be putting out the normal 13 - 14 plus volts. It was never low enough to turn on the alternator light indicating a charge problem. Really weird usually they just fully fail out.
