These books are extremely rare and do not come up for sale too often. It has over a hundred extra pages compared to the standard driving ambition book, mostly with extra exclusive images of the McLaren F1, two chapters of racing history, and several extras like page overlays and notes and the very same signed model badges and speed record badges that can be found inside the actual McLaren F1 car.
What you are getting as part of your purchase is the full limited edition book, green carrying case with authentic McLaren badge, McLaren F1 poster, exclusive transmission diagram, and exclusive McLaren F1 technical cutout drawing.
This book comes with all the original letters and emails regarding the purchase, invitation to McLaren to pick up the book, special edition number invite and everything that came with the initial article in St Georges magazine, all correspondence and the actual book that is still boxed in the original black box, enclosing the suede branded box, internal packaging and then the actual leather bound book.

This book is stunning and a real collectors item only usually found at high end car auctions. I believe the last book sold was over 5 years ago

There was supposed to be 1,000 of these books made, but no one has ever seen a book numbered over 500, so it is generally accepted that only half have ever been produced.
