So, I just got myself an '81 El Camino, and given the valve covers stamped "350", along with the seller's listing, I thought I had a 350.
My mechanic just did a tune-up and good once-over, and told me I had a 267 in it.
I did a little searching around, and came across this really old thread. I plan on doing what is recommended in a few months. I got this car as a daily driver, and more of a work car than a showpiece. I need a little more pep and better performance. I think this thread has me covered.
