Thanks, check the fuse and it was fine. Using voltmeter, determined that the alternator definitely was not providing a charge. Anyway purchased a remanufactured alternator threw it in and car works fine now.
I tried disassembling the alternator to determine what had failed, but was unable to remove the rectifier assembly, even after removing all the fasteners. Seemed like it was hung up on one of the stator leads, are these just prongs and clip?
