A/C fixed. Wasn't the evap temp sensor(s). Mechanic discovered that the compressor clutch bolt was MISSING!!! He said he's had to install several (QTY?) for this same problem on Fords. Loc-Tite'd the new bolt. A/C working fine. Daughter happy!!!! It's a good day!
