My first mustang
When I was 15 my dad bought a 66 Mustang from a local junkyard for $500 - it had a decent body with a straight 6, 3 speed, 200cc engine but it did not have tires, seats or paint. I spent that whole year restoring it so that I could drive it to school when I turned 16. Best year ever! I sanded the body down to bare metal and primed it myself in the garage after just a bit of bondo. I bought some used red walls from a local tire shop and I got red leather seats with white stitching for my 16th birthday. My dad had a buddy of his paint it stop sign red and I was finally good to go! THIS BEGAN MY MUSTANG ADDICTION!
