If you wanna go cheap, just get the motor built, and spray some NOS.
We have a 94 LS at home...my only complaint is the damned side moldings. They're black! eeewwww Shave em, or get em painted. Get the sideskirts painted too.
uh....I don't mean to flame, but I don't understand how your car is getting to be a street race-show car from a daily driver. Your car is still pretty stock....keep workin.
