You should do a view on it when you check the oil. The level of then tank can change during use but it shouls always be the same when the engine is turned off. If the level falls fast, you should look out for leakages. A major source for such problems are the wheel cylinders. A slightly and slow falling level is normal, because brake pads and discs waer down, so the wheel cylinders need a bit more fluid to work. And: Change it at least every two years. I would do this once a year if i lived in the Rockies. Good working brakes can save lifes. Greets from Peine/Germany Thorsten
