You will need to remove the distributor cap and set it aside so it doesn't break. You will be needing to lift the engine approx. 3" on either side. A piece of 2x4 about 6" long works well for this. You will have to remove the exhaust system.

Once you lift the engine, you will be able to remove the pan.
