i know that, i'm not an idiot... re-read the post he said signalling people in front of them, not behind them
unless i misunderstood that, but he said when you're driving up to somebody, you put your signal on, to tell the person ahead of you to moveover
not the other way around, you being the slow person signalling for someone to pass
