What a bunch of horse s**t.

Your BMW takes a certain grade of oil, not a certain Contientent Manufactured Oil viscosity. Not to mention the cost of importing that oil to the states. You thought you were paying a high price for Corona beer, wait until you see the price tag for that oil.

Most BMWs recommend Castrol oil, and it's usually 5W-20 or 0W-20. Some of the newer ones REQUIRE 0w-10. And yes, it's expensive. But that's the price for German engineering.

Check the oil cap on your BMW and see what it says. Use that weight oil provided by a reputable maker...Mobile 1, Pennzoil, Castrol...ect.
