Sounds like the drivers MASTER WINDOW CONTROL switch is bad. Check with either a test light or a multi-meter, and see of your getting power to the passenger side switch. Hook up your test equipment, go to the drivers side and try the switch. See if your getting power and ground. If not, then test the passenger side wiring on the drivers side MWC harness.
Most of the time, if it was working before, and suddenly not working, then you either have bad window regulator/motor, or a bad MWC.
