What is the purpose behind using a hand vacuum pump if there is not vacuum getting to the Rear AC deflector motor?
Operation of the pump is fairly straight forward... there's a nipple on the pump, you connect a hose between the device you want to test and the nipple, then pump. The pump usually has a gauge to show the pressure, which sometimes helps to find a vacuum leak. There is a valve on the pump to release the vacuum.
