Holy shit I hate Buicks.
Damn thing acted funny last week, and stalled out in the road as I was backing out of the driveway. Didn't drive it for 5 days, and had trouble starting it, but after it started, it worked for a few days no issues. Didn't drive it for another day, and the thing was dead, just kicked the starter but didn't have enough juice to even sputter.
This freaking battery is buried! The wiring harness is right against it, and you can barely shift it enough to clear...once you deal with all the other shit. Right above the battery is a hugely oversized washer fluid tank, that holds ¾ of a bottle. Of course right above that, is some kind of suspension bar. Even after removing all that, I still had to tip the battery back at an angle, pull one side out, and flip it on it's side, just to get it out.
Then the joy of finding out that a battery bought back in '08, that cost $88 (I still have the receipt), is now $135. Absolutely ridiculous. My parents are going to buy a new car in a few months. If it's not a Honda or Toyota, they can fix their own vehicles.
