I did hear that in the very near future ESPN will be offering some sort of stand alone streaming option for X amount a month or year or per event or something. I did some math and such (fuzzy logic mostly) and figured that I paid $100+ a month for cable and really only "had" to see maybe two shows a week on any given non sweeps week. Now while it will be a while before those seasons come around to netflix or amazon prime (if it all) but they are usually available for purchase as soon as they air on amazon prime for $2-3 an episode or $15-20 a season. I could purchase full seasons on all the shows I watch regularly, watch them as they air still, and watch them any time I want. AND I HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL. Did I mention that was a big deal to me? With the stick fire amazon prime stick tv thing stick you can also use your phone as your remote, which is more clumsy, something about being a pothead.. I like tactile buttons on my remotes. I dunst know what I'm clicking with a touch screen in the dark haze.

I think people are finally telling these cable companies and their "bundles" to go fuck themselves.
