The wire colors between the two head units are likely to be the same, but I'm not sure the physical connectors would be. If you are comfortable soldering and heat shrinking wires you could pretty easily swap in the new harness if necessary by matching up the old connector wires to your new harness.

I cannot be much help on the dash disassembly to swap out radios though. I can say that just about all modern cars seem to have the cosmetic pieces snapped in place, you just need to figure out which piece to remove first and where it hooks versus where it snaps.
