As usual Marcus is completely right!

They had to change from the 10,6,4,3,2,1 system because it wasn't fair to the smaller teams now that each manufacturer can nominate three cars. Last year that ment that half of the ponts scoring positions were filled by Peugeots as often that not!

But what the FIA should have done was return to the old system the WRC used up till 1997, where the winner got 20 points , second 15 and so on all the way down to 10th. That way even more guys score points and the winner still gets a substantial advantage over the rest of the field.

The F1 system is screwed up even for F1. There the FIA(t)s spin is that it was introduced to help stop the Ferrari domination - yeah right! Who has the most reliable car? That's right, Ferrari, so they will benefit MOST from the new system.

For WRC to just follow in F1s flawed footsteps is very sad.
