Re: Ferrari 312PB 1972 Nurburgring - MFH 1/24

Hi george,
As hemi killer already wrote, the surface of that particular car appears to be flat, like Tamiya flat aluminium XF16.
BUT the most important question is: Does that particular picture / car (actually seems to be shot at Spa Francorchamps nowadays while a classic meeting or oldtimer GP) show the ORIGINAL car in ORIGINAL condition OR is it restored?
I have the same "difficulties" with my current project, the Porsche 917LH. There are lot of pics showing restored ones and original ones..........if you are going for a "authentic" build, i suggest you to "be careful with pictures like these". It's also about the decals / stickers.
That's no look of 1972-car (for sure it is a real 312PB). Try to catch that mood / feeling of the time you want your miniature to take place in.
Don't you have some more pictures showing the car while the depending race at the Nürburgring in 1972?

All the best!!

Yours
Jochen
