I have the same engine and 4wd as you. just checked oil now 2100 miles Mobil 1 syn oil, pure one Purolator oil filter used 1/8 qt. vehicles @ 150,000miles original owner. @10,000miles switched from Castrol 5-30wt to synthetic Mobil 1 5-30wt.

8,000miles oil changed uses 1/2 qt. 2000 model year 18.2 mpg on this 2100 mile trip so far 87 octane.
