Anyway, those are what turned me onto the high caffeine drinks. Then it was discontinued, then not long after was the big energy drink boom, dabbled in them here and there, not serious. I was throwing news papers at the time, so the extra energy was nice to keep me from falling asleep on my 100 mile route (rural area, more miles than papers). Anyhoo, not long after I moved to Portland was was in college and needed to be awake 40 hours a day it seemed and I started drinking Bawls pretty regularly, it didn't give me the jitters like the others. skip ahead a year or so and I'm drinking all sorts of energy drinks, working my way up. I've quit several times, once for like a year or so, then I'll be running slow one morning and pick one up and BAM back on them all the time. Caffeine- its a mother fucker.
Hell yeah, I remember Coke Blak, that coffee flavored one. I tried it once before, but I'm not a coffee person, so I just wasn't in to it. My parents bought a 6-pack of bottles (not sure it came in a can), they both had 2 (they are massive coffee drinkers), I had 1, and the other bottle stayed in the fridge for a year plus, until I threw that shit away.

I tried to quit smoking and drinking soda/caffeine a few years ago. I had already quit drinking and weed at that point, so it was a no-fucking-go. I quit smoking for 3 weeks, but I drank a Coke the next fucking day. I can tell at night if I haven't even had one caffeinated soda in a day (even if it's before 3pm), I just feel so damn tired and want to sleep at 6pm, after literally doing nothing all day long.
