It won't give the ECU an accurate reading. Or more so, it won't map correctly. The reason is because when you reset it, the computer is taking high's and low's to see where the engine is operating nomily. If you rev it, it throws everything off. So when you connect it back, turn it on and leave it running by itself for like 5 mins I believe. Then use as directed!
