And oregon is one of the "can't fill up your own car" states... all gas stations are full service, meaning that the simple fill up requires you go find a station that open, wait on the attendant, explain to them how to fill up the car (you have to scan the gas card, enter your user ID, then odometer miles). Inevitably the attendant does not speak english and this 4 minute fill up usually requires managers and cia linking up to interpol satalites and a virgin birth before they figure out how to do three things in sequence.
