Dont think double clutching in your car will help you a whole lot, Double clutching is most common on heavy trucks how ever the way you do it is simple when shifting gears simply push the clutch once and pull the stick out of gear release the clutch while your moving to the next gear, when your ready to put it in the next gear push the clutch again and slip it in gear and release the clutch again, its that simple basically your just pushing the clutch twice every shift instead of once, it would be like this
1-clutch in - off throttle
2-take out of gear
3-clutch out
4-clutch in
5-put in next gear
6-clutch out - on throttle
This is nessasary on heavy truck transmisions because they wont go into gear unless the engine RPMS and the Transmision speed match, so by releasing the clutch after you take it out of gear helps keep the transmision gears up to speed while shifting.
