Question Re: Shocks and struts replacement on 2003 Windstar LX

Ok, all the parts are finally on. I basically have an entirely new suspension system in the front besides the PS pump which whines like a baby. I guess I should check the fluid in it to make sure they topped it off.

Anyway, I'm driving it around today for the first time since I got it out of the shop.... and I'm noticing some serious oversteer.... which I hope means that it turns too easily... if I have the wheel straight and I'm not touching it and I accel forward and hit a lil tiny bump or tiny imperfection in the road at even say 5 mph the van wants to do a hard turn to the left or right and would go in a circle if I let it.

Upon looking at the front tires from the front the tops of both of them are tilted outward and the bottom of the tires are tilted inward and its BIG time noticeable. Its made me wonder if I put the wrong struts or other parts on there. COULD ALL I NEED BE AN ALIGNMENT???

I was always told the alignment is done at the top of the strut towers.... but someone here said its done from the buttom. How is it done? and Whats the likelihood I have the wrong parts on there?
