I think you're starting in the right place. It's gonna be a lot of sheet styrene to get it where you want, but it will be worth it. I am unfamiliar with the game but I would bet they kind of based a car on a Mustang and did what they could to not have to license it, so don't sweat the details too much. You're probably going to be better of going for just the concept. I can't wait to see how it works.
