There's nothing wrong with the Sebring, but there's also more reliable cars out there if that's what is the most important to you. And in that case, you're going to want to go for either a 4-cylinder Asian car (Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic). There's also the three last-gen small American cars (Ford Escort, Chevy Cavalier, Dodge Neon) all of which are relatively reliable and long-lasting, as well as easy to work on.
