The RF 400.4 is a darn powerful amp
which is a good start for a audio system. In order to get some 6.5s on your front doors you will most likely need some customed work done...
Here is one advice for you....don't invest too much on your rear speakers...you will hardly/not hear them... do put the money in for your fronts tho...thats where all/most of your music come from.

I've been mainly looking at Infinity's (the Kappa 60.3cs that are $184 at thezeb.com for the back and maybe the 62.3i's for the fronts), and I thought the ones that I listened to at CarToys (Reference 605cs, they didn't have the Kappas) sounded really good, but the highs were a bit too high for my tastes. Does anybody know if the Kappa components will sound different?

I used to have some Infinity Betas 6s..which I loved..good power handling...but i don't think you can find them around anymore... I like the perfect 6s
good power handling...awesome sound quality too...
I have never had a chance to play with the kappa lower range series as they just don't handle the power that i want them to...

I take it that you are going to run your amp at 2ohm bridged rather than 8ohm right?
make sure your amp can handle this
And also do give them good clean power.... they can take A LOT of it... more they what you can imagine...
Sealed box is always good
