Is the flow arriving from under the engine? If so, is the flow near the top part or the back of the motor. We already know it's on the motorists part. If it was the heating unit primary, your windows would be clouding up with a water that is difficult to get rid of, you'd have no warm, and a continuous fragrance of coolant in the cottage.
