If we know the moty is done every year, maybe at the beginning of december can be ok to start ask for entries.
Surely some will also choose or prepare better pics than the ones seen during wips or gallery, and it may take time (is xmas /family time allover the world,so many have a lot of stressy stuff to manage nowadays).

Paolo, yes, maybe it would have been. But between family, and working 70 hours a week, I simply didn't have time. And nobody else volunteered to do it so I did it when I had the time. So, between having this done at the last minute versus not having it at all, I'd take last minute every time.
