Lets start with a car going on 13 years old with 141K and being a chrysler that to a dealer is worth zero no matter how good it runs, but in a trade you could get mega bucks as long as you will pay their asking price.
Consider that the average car depreciate approx $2500. a year that to me means at $3700. purchase if you could drive this car for close to 2 years without issues your investment will be valid, personally I would not consider.
If I really like the way the car drives $2000. would be a very max, and that would be after a complete mechanical inspection where the car got a 100% thumbs up from the mechanic.
