Did you do the work or a garage?
I did the work but brake pads are very simple to replace...to me anyway. It's coming from the front but it only makes this noise when I release the pedal slowly to keep the truck from jolting or when I stop it completely and then release the pedal. It happens when the truck rocks back into position. I've heard what noise my truck makes when the pads are worn away and this is not that noise. It sounds like some oil would be needed but I have no idea.
