I'll get some pictures, but for now... When I bought the car it was apparently originally wired for an EFI 302. The previous owner converted the car to a carb and left a lot of the original wiring harness for the EFI in the car. I also found what I believe was two-way radio communication harnesses for driver/instructor. ?? When I removed the dash panel, it was a total disaster. It look like a giant ball of wires. I tried to sort through it and finally have up and grabbed the wire cutters. I have a single source that I've used for years-
http://www.wiringproducts.com. I had a custom switch panel made ($99.00) and every circuit has it's own colored wire. I used -12 for everything (probably over-kill) except the alternator, for which I used -10. I used 4/0 welding cable for the battery (bought locally) What I have now is a super-sanitary, easy to trace, fused system. I also moved the switch panel to the drivers side of the steering wheel, merely because that's where I was used to having it when I circle-tracked and in my A-Sedan Mustang. I'll include some pics soon.
PS- I saw in my junk mail that "Don" sent me a PM about the wheels I run. For whatever reason, it's not in my inbox on this forum. So "Don", I'm not ducking you- please resubmit your question and I'll give you the answer. I found a source for wheels that are very reasonably priced. They're not in the SCCA GT2 spec line, but you can protest me if you want. (lol). I mean: they are the correct sizes and fitment, just not CCW or BBS.
