OK so today I climbed under the car and had my wife flick the 4wd switch on and off. The shaft that runs from the transfer case to the front unit does lock up and BUT the front unit on the L/S axel housing does nothing.I believe this is what locks the 4x4 unit to the housings. I am thinking this is the culprit and needs to be pulled off and cleaned. AM I RIGHT????
