Well, some progress. As I said, this is a double WIP... given the similarity between the cars (and the kits), I'll show some progress on the F2001: especially in this phase, the work is almost the same. In this case, I'm adding a PE detail set by Studio27, seems fine!
At first, assembly of the cowl, puttying and sanding. Wings must be removed to add the PE ones. Lots of sanding is therefore needed to guarantee a smooth transition between the cowling and the PE, given its smaller thickness.
Most of the small additional wings must be removed to insert the PE ones.
A beautiful kit but.... ejector-pin-holes everywhere. Those placed in the middle of the rear part of the wing are very visible so... MrHobby liquid putty and sanding. Lots of hours doing this, I hope it worths..
Some additional work must be done to properly thin the parts of the diffuser.
At the end... an ensamble view.
Of course, all this work is doubled!
