With the recent passing of Carroll Shelby, Scale Auto's August issue is somewhat timely, w/a couple of GT500 build stories. Chuck Kourouklis built the 1/12 version, I built the 1/25 version (2010 model).

My kit is built mostly OOB, I did alter the ride height a bit to get it to sit right; fairly easy job on this kit, by removing material front and rear.

Paint is Tamiya TS23. Kit stripes worked very well. Fun kit, no problems w/assembly. Wheels were stripped and shot with Alclad Stainless Steel.
