If you have a lotta blow-by through the oil fill cap and see a wet plug in that cylinder, chances are good it holed a piston.
A vacuum gauge reading will show you any catastrophic compression loss in that hole. Needle will drop out every time that one comes into an intake cycle...needle will shake so hard at idle you'll hear it rattling in the gauge. If so, you got big trouble.
