Finally got round to weighing the seat, sorry for the long wait.
95 GTR seat assy fully trimmed,
4.2 KG (give or take a few grams)
The seat shell is double skinned carbon using a honeycomb core with a bonded seat base in monolothic carbon. The weight above does not include the seat release/runner assy.
Its an extremely comfortable seat to sit in, a lot of time was spent on the seating ergonomics for the driver, but so I have been told, the passenger seats are a little cramped. The passenger seats are not to dissimilar to the concept of the ones in the rear of my BMW 850, even the road cars seat base substrate looks very similar, nought like copying a good idea
