Any help would be appreciated.

I recently had this issue with my Intrigue. I believe what TechII stated, "loss of vacuum" may be your issue. For me, it started when I replaced my Upstream Oxygen Sensor from above using a long extension. During the process a thin plastic hose broke and I had a thin rubber hose to piece it back together. Fast forward months later, I began having incorrect airflow direction from my AC. No matter what setting I chose, it remained the same, flow to the feet and little direct flow. Yesterday, I popped the hood and found that the same hose popped out. After plugging it in, my AC flow was corrected. On my 1999 Intrigue with 3800, the large vacuum booster hose connects to the upper intake plenum, and the thin plastic hose (the one which I broke) connects on top of the booster hose and then wraps around the engine compartment, the vacuum diagram has it going "to accessory". Yours may vary since its a 2001.
