thanks for all the greets guys, a little more progress...

the new floor fins are in place as are the heat protection etched pieces, will add some weathering to this...



the original kit rear lift bracket is to be replaced with photoetch...



I also added a tube section to join both end pieces...



added the rear axles...



for the top of the transmission I'm gonna replace the rivets with etch and aftermarket ones...



which looks like this, a whole lot better than moulded versions...





had a real struggle to find some good pics of the weave pattern on the wings, from what I can make out the end plates are a different composite to the mid sections although I'm not 100% on that so might end up using the same decal.

I used this for the cross sections of the front and rear wings...



The monocoque is definately different though and has a more gold finish to the carbon so Im gonna order some more for that.

So far the wings look like this, I could resist adding the decals once the fibre decals had set...
