hello, here are some updates after a short break.
here are the doors after cleaned up.
test fited to the body. looks good so far.
white putty applied to fill up those uneven area and sanded smooth, rescribed the window seal, then primed with grey primer.
test fit again.
primed the door panel.
door hinges time... sand flat on 1 side of 2 plastic pipe, i used Evergreen 2.4mm diameter with inner diameter of 0.93mm.
cut a space on 1 of the pipe after measuring the angle so that can secure the copper rod.
bend a S shape with copper rod, Lionroar 1mm diameter copper rod.
the other pipe glued to the door after some measurment.
glue the pipe with the space to the body, then insert the S shape rod n secure it, ofcourse with some measurment aswell. how? not sure how to explain, just test fit and test fit, then do a marking with a marker pen on where the hinge should be glue to.
slide in the door, and tada... consider done.
test fit together with door panel on, windscreen on, dash board and seats on.
thats all for now, still need some touch up on the door panel detail, hinge consider ok for 2nd time, better and open smoother compare with my previous attemp on the GTR project.
