I have a 99 Suburban and I often found my passenger side carpet wet. I found my problem was water leaked in from the top of the windshield and was running behind the plastic trim. I found out this is a common problem. I ran a bead of silicone across the top of the windshield on the outside. I'm happy to say this fixed the problem.
