Yes, i noticed that too....but as you said, nobody will notice this difference...

And about the masking work, I always prefer to paint the clear colors first then masking for lay down the darkest one...
Cover a black area with white paint is more dificult ;-) not always, but, "by the book".. that´s the rule!
