What did the fluid look like when changed??
Did you find many steel shavings?
Is fluid at proper level "engine hot and drive it through all gears from P,R,N,D,3,2,1. ALL
engine must be running and on flat ground when you check it.

random misfire I doubt is wires or plugs. I would check the Cap Rotor and check for play in the distributor. wiggle the rotor left to right after you take off the cap. 1/8-1/4 inch of play is too much. The distributor has a worm gear on it and over time the gears wear allowing play.

If all this is fine I would check for a VAC leak and fuel pressure. We can help you do all the test you need to do if you don't know how.
