This is Modeler's 1/20 Jordan 199 F1 kit built up pretty much out of the box except for Tamiya MP4/13 rims/tires and Modeler's seat belts.
The paint is Finisher's Jordan yellow which in person is a real nice lemon yellow. The paint was put on over white primer, wet sanded then cleared with U-pol urethane over the decals. I did three sessions of wet coats wet dansing between each session. The light booth doesn't show the gloss well at all because I don't know what I'm doing with the photography lol. The gold on the cockpit surround is Jordan 196 gold mixed by MCW and matches the gold in the decals spot on.
I didn't use any CF decals, I just gave it the semi gloss black treatment for simplicity sake. I took a few artistic liberties with it in some of the details so it isn't a perfect replica by any means.
The rear wing could have used more attention because the parts were a bit low grade but I tried not to put too much fuss in the build. For any who have viewed Will Chan's build of this kit you know how far I didn't go. lol
Overall I'm very happy with it, I haven't been doing much building lately and my skills are a bit rusty but I plan to stay in full build mode, especially on my F1 kits.
