Sauber C22 HHF

Finished this one last year and finally made some new pics. Itīs the Revell 1:24 kit.
I tried to keep it simple, making a more or less oob-model. The engine of this kit is rather undetailed so i kept the body closed. Bigger front brakes were added, some PE for the belts, which are made of electrical tape, and a few different types of SMS carbon decals. The seat was covered with white micro balls and airbrushed with black paint.
New exhaust tips were made from wire-end sleeves, painted with alclad. The bulls blue is a custom mix i got from a fellow modeler, yellow is just decanted TS-47. The turquoise was really hard to get. Revellīs mixing advice in their instructions isnīt that bad, but too bright. I tried several ratios, making little paint blobs next to the turquoise decals until i was satisfied.
I replaced the kit parts for the antennas with thinner steel wire, took 2mm screws and nuts to attach the wheels and finally sanded the tyres to let them look less glossy. Underside was simply painted black, no decals there.

Now please enjoy the pictures! I hope you like it.
