I just don't see the value for money even though they are more rare runs of kits.
I would love Belkits or some of the big boys to make some retro GpB rally models. There is a severe lack of new rally car models on the market.

Hey Kaj45rpm,
This is an never ending discussion. Does an expensive kit give you value for money?
There is a lot more work on a multi media kit and the quality is most of the time not that good (try building a Narton kit and you know what i mean).
I can just speak for myself so hear it goes : I`m a lucky guy. I`ve got a job that pays nice money and i`ve got a lovely wife that supports my hobby. So i am lucky that i can build the cars i love without looking at the price. I`m a sucker for old rally cars and i`ve got a lot of resin ones be course there are no other available. But don`t get me wrong, i don`t necessarily go for the expensive kits. I see a car i like, go check my options and then i`ll decide. And you have to agree : turning a really bad kit into a nice model, even if it takes a year, gives you way more satisfaction then putting a tamiya kit together in 2 weeks.

So yes, i think they are great value for money. I`ve got about 30 multi media kits at home an i`m gonna love building every single one of them.
greets Philip
Ow, and about Belkits going retro. I know one of the guys from belkits, and got i tried, but there are only modern rallycars planned.
